Emaar Hospitality to open Emaar South Golf Club in Dubai South on 5 October 2026

Emaar Hospitality Group has announced the opening of Emaar South Golf Club in Dubai South on 5 October 2026, expanding the group’s portfolio of golf offerings in the emirate as the outdoor season approaches.

The company said the new club will be the fourth golf venue in its portfolio and will be located in the heart of the Emaar South community. Emaar Hospitality Group positioned the development as a sports and lifestyle destination for golf enthusiasts, describing it as catering to players across different skill levels.

Designed for players at multiple levels

According to the announcement, the club is designed for professionals, experienced golfers, beginners, and families. It will include a championship-length course and dedicated practice areas, with the operator stating that the facility is intended to provide a comprehensive golf experience.

Emaar Hospitality Group said the course was designed by European Golf Design. The company stated that the layout spans 7,278 yards from the black tees and includes a driving range, zones for short-game training, and additional practice areas.

Clubhouse, dining, and retail

In addition to on-course facilities, the group said the venue will feature a modern clubhouse designed to support a full visitor experience from arrival. Reported amenities include a reception area, fully equipped changing rooms, a golf merchandise shop operated by E-Golf, and a restaurant managed by Maison Mathis. The announcement also references ample visitor parking.

Sustainability measures

Emaar Hospitality Group said the club will adopt a policy that prohibits single-use plastic water bottles. It also stated that sustainable drinking-water stations will be available throughout the club to allow visitors to refill reusable bottles, aiming to reduce reliance on plastic packaging.

Events and future membership programmes

The announcement further described the club as a family-oriented destination intended to bring residents and visitors together, combining golf with restaurants and social activities.

Emaar Hospitality Group said the club will host tournaments and member events, sports activities, and corporate golf days. It also indicated that future stages will include the rollout of membership packages and specialised programmes at a golf academy.

Location and access

The company said the club is strategically located approximately ten minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport, describing this as a factor that could support access for visitors from within the UAE and internationally.

Company statement

Hakan Keskın, the group’s president of hospitality sector, commented on the opening, saying it represents a new step in Emaar Hospitality Group’s journey and reflects its commitment to creating venues that elevate entertainment and lifestyle experiences in Dubai.

Emaar Hospitality Group added that the club is intended to operate as more than just a new golf course, framing it as a combined destination for golf-related quality, hospitality, and a lively social atmosphere.
