Dubai has launched the Dubai Future Research Complex, named Nad Zabeel, aimed at attracting 30,000 researchers and specialists, according to an announcement shared via social media by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Under the initiative, researchers and specialists are said to be able to use the complex’s services to work on future sectors connected to human life.
A new node in Dubai’s future ecosystem
The announcement states that Nad Zabeel is intended to complement Dubai’s broader “future industry” environment, which already includes the Dubai Future Foundation, the Museum of the Future and the Dubai Future Academy.
The post also frames the move as part of efforts to institutionalise future-oriented research and preparedness in the emirate.
As reported, the initiative is described as newly launched; however, no additional operational details, opening timeline, or researcher intake arrangements were included in the source text.
