Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has inaugurated the 12th edition of Dubai Design Week, the region’s design festival, at Dubai Design District (d3).
What’s on during the festival
Dubai Design Week 2026 runs from 3 to 8 November 2026 and brings together designers, architects and creative practitioners from more than 50 countries, according to the organisers.
The programme features more than 40 installations, exhibitions, commissions and activations, plus talks, workshops and public experiences exploring design, cultural heritage and contemporary creative practice.
- Downtown Design, described as the Middle East’s leading contemporary design fair
- The Forum talks programme with international and regional practitioners
- UAE Designer Exhibition supported by Dubai Culture
- Abwab commissioning programme and new exhibition format
- Urban Commissions for public-space design
The festival also includes hands-on workshops, and a Dubai Design Week Marketplace on 7 and 8 November bringing together more than 80 independent makers, artisans and creative businesses.
