5 November 2026 The tourism and economy edition of the Dubai Content Creators Programme has concluded with participants presenting final projects focused on Dubai landmarks through digital storytelling.
Organised by the Dubai Press Club (DPC) with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the programme ran for two weeks and aimed to build skills in creating tourism content using modern digital tools.
Final projects focus on how visitors experience Dubai
Participants worked under the theme “Choose a Dubai Landmark and Tell Its Story Your Way”. Projects included original digital content designed to highlight the emirate’s tourist attractions and the variety of experiences available across Dubai’s destinations.
Organisers said the output included short-form video for Instagram and TikTok, longer videos for YouTube, and documentary-style features, with participants deciding how best to present their chosen landmarks for their intended platforms.
Dubai Press Club representatives said the final pitches were used to assess how clearly and originally ideas were developed, the quality of storytelling, and how effectively filming and editing matched each platform’s style.
Participants were also expected to demonstrate practical production skills from concept and scriptwriting through to filming, lighting and editing, followed by planning for publication strategies tailored to different audiences.
The programme’s organisers framed the initiative as a way to combine learning with real production experience, producing content that can reach both local and international audiences.
