iDiet launches Protein-Packed Meal Plan in the UAE with 30g+ protein per meal and dietitian support

iDiet, a UAE healthy food and diet meal plan brand, has launched a new Protein-Packed Meal Plan aimed at making higher-protein eating part of everyday nutrition.

In a statement, the company said the calorie-controlled plan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and one snack, with each meal containing a minimum of 30g of protein. iDiet also said the programme is supported by a dedicated dietitian and is designed to offer flexibility alongside ongoing guidance.

Everyday focus, brand says

iDiet positioned the new programme as distinct from its existing High-Protein Plan, which it described as more geared towards bodybuilding and muscle-building goals. By contrast, the Protein-Packed Meal Plan is presented as a more everyday option for people who want to prioritise protein while following a broader weight-management approach.

The brand said its “food-first” approach uses protein-rich, chef-crafted meals inspired by Mediterranean, Asian, Oriental and international cuisines. iDiet added that customers can adjust elements such as calories, meal frequency, exclusions and meal swaps as their preferences and routines change.

Dietitian guidance and taste, CEO says

iDiet CEO and co-founder Sabine Karam said consumers increasingly want more than calorie counts and are asking about protein, fibre and the nutritional value of food.

“Protein is having a moment, but more isn’t always the answer,” Karam said. “What matters is getting enough of the right nutrients in food you genuinely enjoy and can sustain.” She added that when people eat smaller portions, the brand believes nutritional density becomes especially important, and said iDiet’s aim is to make protein part of a personalised, balanced approach.

Speaking to the role of adherence, Karam said taste remains central to making healthier eating sustainable, arguing that even carefully structured diets can fail if customers do not enjoy what they are eating.

Availability across the UAE

iDiet said it has been operating in the UAE since 2021. The company described itself as the UAE brand of HealthBox Diet and Nutrition Center, founded in Lebanon in 2010 by Karam.

According to the statement, iDiet currently serves more than 3,500 customers and delivers over one million meals annually in the UAE. The Protein-Packed Meal Plan is now available across the country.

The brand also said it offers more than 12 meal-plan programmes, including options such as high-protein, keto, vegan, anti-inflammatory, pregnancy and intermittent-fasting. iDiet said all programmes are designed with input from registered dietitians and include ongoing support through the course of the plan.

Date of announcement: 8 October 2026.
