Reported: 2 November 2026
Nasdaq Dubai has welcomed the listing of a CNH 2 billion Yulan Bond issued by Bank of China (Dubai Branch), described by Dubai Media Office as the first-ever Yulan Bond to list on the exchange.
The two-year fixed-rate note is reported to mature in October 2028 and is dual listed on Nasdaq Dubai and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Dubai Media Office says the bond attracted demand from regional and international investors, with the final yield tightening by 50 basis points from initial price guidance to settle at 1.60%. The release also notes an ‘A’ credit rating from Fitch Ratings.
Proceeds are stated to be used for general corporate purposes. The Yulan Bond is reported to be registered and held through the Shanghai Clearing House (SHCH), with international settlement via Euroclear, following global custody practices.
To commemorate the listing, the report says H.E. Zeng Jixin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, rang the market opening bell at Nasdaq Dubai alongside Nasdaq Dubai leadership and Bank of China executives.
