Emaar Development PJSC reported stronger financial results for the first nine months of 2026, citing revenue growth supported by ongoing project execution and a large sales backlog.
In a statement dated 5 November 2026, the UAE property developer said its revenue rose 26% year-on-year to AED 22.2 billion (US$ 6.0 billion) for the period January to September 2026. The company also reported EBITDA of AED 11.4 billion (US$ 3.1 billion), up 28% with a 52% margin, and net profit after tax of AED 10.8 billion (US$ 2.9 billion), up 24%, with a 49% net profit margin.
Property sales and revenue backlog
Emaar Development said property sales reached AED 26.2 billion (US$ 7.1 billion) during the first nine months of 2026, describing the sales volumes as reflecting a “measured pace” amid evolving geopolitical dynamics while maintaining “pricing integrity and customer confidence” across its master-planned communities.
The company reported revenue backlog of AED 119.8 billion (US$ 32.6 billion) as of 30 September 2026, saying it provides visibility for future revenue recognition and supports long-term development plans.
Construction progress, handovers and contracts
Emaar Development said construction across its ongoing projects advanced in line with or ahead of schedules. It stated that more than 85% of active projects were ahead of schedule as of 30 September 2026.
The developer also reported it handed over more than 4,800 residential units during the first nine months of 2026.
On development activity and contracting, the company said it awarded 23 main works contracts valued at AED 13.5 billion and additional infrastructure works contracts worth AED 4.3 billion during the period.
Land bank and longer term planning
Emaar Development said it continues to benefit from a land bank that totals approximately 285 million sq. ft. of mixed-use development opportunities as of 30 September 2026. The company said the reserve supports capacity for future launches and flexibility in planning next phases.
It added that during the first half of the year it announced plans for an AED 200 billion masterplan, which it described as part of its long-term development pipeline.
Customer financing and digital engagement
The company said it continued to focus on “quality developments, digital engagement and service improvements” throughout the home-buying and ownership journey. It noted that in July it announced a collaboration with ADCB to provide financing solutions for eligible buyers of ready and off-plan properties. Emaar Development said the offering includes annually renewable mortgage pre-approval for off-plan customers until handover.
Sustainability initiatives
On sustainability, Emaar Development said it expanded rooftop solar photovoltaic capacity to a total of 1.08 MWp across The Greens, The Views and Dubai Hills Estate. The company also cited implementation of an Energy Savings Performance Contract in Downtown Dubai under the Energy Management Programme, and stated it achieved a landfill diversion rate of 67.7% as of August 2026.
Founder comments
Emaar founder Mohamed Alabbar said in the company statement that the nine-month results reflect progress in turning plans into completed communities, and emphasized delivery expectations for homebuyers. He also commented that long-term vision from UAE leadership supports investment ahead, and said the company will continue planning and infrastructure investment as Dubai grows.
