Dubai Jewellery Group announces Diwali Gold Rush 2026 with gold raffle draws

Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG) has launched its Diwali Gold Rush 2026, a city-wide jewellery promotion running from 24 October to 12 November 2026 across 180 participating outlets, the company said.

DJG said customers who spend Dhs 1,500 or more on jewellery at any participating outlet can scan a campaign QR code to enter a raffle. The company stated that shoppers earn one raffle entry for every Dhs 1,500 spent during the campaign period.

Gold prizes and draw dates

The promotion includes two prize draws, DJG said. Purchases made before 6 November 2026 are described by the company as offering shoppers a chance to double their chances of winning.

  • Dhanteras Draw: Five winners, each receiving 100 grams of gold. DJG said the draw is open to purchases made from 24 October to 6 November 2026.
  • Grand Draw: One winner, receiving 500 grams of gold. DJG said the draw is open to purchases made from 24 October to 12 November 2026, with the draw taking place on 12 November 2026.

Festive offers at participating outlets

Alongside the raffle, DJG said participating outlets will offer a range of discounts and incentives, including:

  • 25% to 50% off making charges on selected gold jewellery, the company said.
  • Up to 50% off on select diamond and polki jewellery collections.
  • Free gifts with purchase at participating outlets, with terms and conditions applying, DJG said.
  • Zero deduction on old gold exchange for new designs at participating outlets.

DJG statements on pricing and quality

DJG Chairman Mr. Tawhid Abdullah said in the announcement that Diwali is “one of the most important gold-buying occasions of the year” and that Dubai is a “price-competitive” destination. He cited making charges, quality standards, and tax refunds for tourists as factors, adding that the campaign gives shoppers the chance to take home gold.

DJG Chairperson of the Marketing Committee Ms. Laila Suhail said Diwali is a “time of celebration” and that DJG aimed to offer consumers “exceptional value” through deals and design variety, according to the company statement.

DJG also pointed to regulation of purity hallmarking by Dubai government authorities and said it has “stringent quality standards” behind its jewellery offerings.

Notes on travelling with gold

The company said that under India’s revised 2026 rules, eligible travellers can carry up to 40 grams of gold jewellery for women and up to 20 grams for men duty-free, including non-resident Indians and Indian residents returning after more than a year abroad. DJG described this as relevant for travellers planning Diwali gold purchases before heading home.

DJG did not say whether winners will be contacted automatically or how prize verification will be handled. The company’s announcement states that terms and conditions apply to offers.

The promotion is scheduled for the period stated above; participation and prize eligibility depend on the campaign’s official rules.
