Reported: 2 November 2026
1 November 2026: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued weather guidance indicating fair to partly cloudy conditions overall, with a chance of convective cloud formation eastward and northward that could bring rainfall to areas including Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Dusty spells as winds pick up
NCM forecasts light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds, which may strengthen to around 40 km/h at times in internal areas. Gusts are expected to raise dust in open and exposed locations.
Authorities advise taking precautions if caught in sudden dust squalls, including covering the nose and mouth and keeping doors and windows locked to limit dust entering indoor spaces.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-30s, with Dubai forecast to reach around 36°C.
Sea conditions are described as slight in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, with wave heights potentially reaching up to two feet onshore and three feet offshore.
