Dubai Health launches Yumnak to support senior citizens

Reported: 1 November 2026

Dubai Health has announced the launch of Yumnak, an initiative designed to bring together health, social support, transport and housing services for senior citizens across Dubai.

Reported on 1 November 2026, the programme is framed as an integrated, one-stop support model for people aged 60 and above to help them access services more easily while supporting independent living and wellbeing.

Single point of contact

Yumnak provides a single point of contact at 800 588, where beneficiaries can enquire about services, follow up on requests and book selected support.

The initiative is delivered in collaboration with multiple Dubai entities, including the Dubai Health Authority, the Community Development Authority, Dubai Municipality, the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, and Almadallah Healthcare Management.

Health care, transport and home support

Dubai Health says it will provide homecare services such as physician visits, nursing care, dental services and physiotherapy, alongside home delivery of medications and medical supplies.

For appointment access, the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services will provide transportation for eligible people with limited mobility, describing coordination with the medical appointment system in advance. Dubai Health also mentions dedicated transport between homes and Dubai Health facilities for eligible patients.

On the housing side, Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment will assess needs and support home modifications, while Dubai Municipality will provide residential annex design services tailored to seniors. The Community Development Authority outlines social support connections including the Thukher Card via the Dubai Now app and home care services.

Dubai Health says the initiative was shaped using feedback from senior citizens through workshops organised by the City Makers programme.
