Mango Jam Studios and SMC Group announce strategic partnership to broaden Middle East access to global music and entertainment rights

Dubai, UAE, 14 October 2026 – Mango Jam Studios, an audio post-production company with operations in the Middle East, says it has formed a strategic partnership with The SMC Group to expand what it calls regional access to international music, artists, celebrity talent and entertainment rights for brands and creative teams.

According to the announcement, Mango Jam Studios, which it says was established in 2012, will combine its regional creative and audio expertise with The SMC Group’s international network spanning music licensing, entertainment rights, artists and celebrity talent. The companies said the partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two organizations.

Mango Jam Studios described its experience as including bespoke music composition, voice recording, brand sonic development and sound design. The company also cited work tied to music licensing and artist collaborations for brand communication projects.

The release lists advertising and creative clients Mango Jam says it has worked with, including Coca-Cola, Colgate, Mobily, P&G, IKEA and e&.

Claims on expanded routes to global talent and rights

For brands and agencies, the companies said the collaboration is intended to provide a more direct process for accessing entertainment opportunities, including internationally recognized music and artists, as well as rights described as covering celebrity image and likeness. Mango Jam said its client base is increasingly seeking talent and music it believes can help brands connect with audiences across the region.

“The Middle East has a fast-moving advertising industry, and our clients increasingly want access to talent and music that can help them create stronger connections with their audiences,” said Wilbur D’Costa, Executive Producer at Mango Jam Studios.

SMC Group, which it said has operated internationally since 1999, described its work as including celebrity procurement, artist partnerships, music licensing, image and likeness rights and entertainment-led brand campaigns. The company said the partnership is designed to make its global infrastructure more accessible to agencies, production companies and brands in the Middle East.

“For us, this partnership is about making our existing global access significantly more available to the Middle East,” said Maurice Hamilton, Global CEO of The SMC Group. He added that Mango Jam understands regional creative workflows and said SMC Group provides an international layer including access to global music, artists and entertainment rights.

What the companies say the partnership includes

The announcement said the companies will support clients through what it called a streamlined approach covering music licensing and artist and celebrity procurement, including usage rights. It also referenced considerations such as territories, platforms, duration and commercial terms.

Mango Jam and The SMC Group said their combined regional and international capabilities are intended to help campaigns extend across geographic boundaries while remaining grounded in Middle Eastern market needs.

D’Costa added: “Our ambition is to build a collaboration that is known for being thoughtful about both client and artist needs, while working efficiently within time and budget considerations.” He also said the companies aim to become a partner for artist and celebrity management for brand communication over time.

Hamilton added that when Middle East agencies or brands think about music licensing, celebrity talent, artists or entertainment rights, The SMC Group and Mango Jam want to be included early in the process.

The companies said the partnership is intended to make global music, talent and entertainment rights more accessible to the Middle East’s advertising and creative industry by combining local market knowledge with international rights expertise.
